Good Morning Guys,

i have now installed both Flight Simulators (FS9 & X) on my HD !!!

I have created a lot of Screenshots with FSX, but a lot of People thinks, the FS2004 looks better! What you think? What is your Major Flightsim? FS9 or X?

Here my first FSX Screenshot Attempts:

Great screens Frank cool.gif

My primary sim is FSX but thats because i have the system to run it , FS9 has many features endearing to X but as addons , this is the only limit to bring a lower end pc up to the standard of FSX , I think your previous screen shots prove this as they appear to show more detail the your current batch of screenies , least with your efforts , it gives some direction for the lower end system and show what they can look for smile.gif

Nice shots again panavia.
The thing I love about FSX, in shots like the first, is the way the water looks - so glassy.

Personallyy I think both FS9 and FSX look great and they do both have their place. I mainly use FS9 as I don't have the system to run FS X.

They all look good to me - there is no doubt the FSX water (reflection etc) is better than FS9 water

Please note this is not meant to be another FSX-bagging post!!!
The FSX water looks really good in some screenshots, but you soon get tired of it.
I think it has to do with the fact that it is so in your face?
It shouts at you LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME.
Many many FSX screenshots will include that "look" that catches your eye.
After a while, in farm dams, in rivers, places where the frosted-plastic look is totally inappropriate, you grow weary.
I believe that there are alternative addon textures emerging, which give some variety.
Nothing new here of course, took me years to sort out FS9's water, after I thought I had the perfect textures in FS2002! cool.gif
