Well if the USAF can throw a Boeing C17 Globemaster 3 around WANAKA,why not a Boeing 747-400 Freighter,What better choice than with Robs Fav livery

Heading past Tekapo FL250 - some eagle eye TGtourist maybe

spotted mmm .. now were the hell is he going

Life on the flight deck was now starting to get interesting , get the numbers right ...

In over the lake , over the township

I think i have enough fuel to fly to Auckland and back for the display ,

It is better to be sure than running out .. what Sir Tim Wallis would have thought of this i don,t no

really would have lifted the heckles in the back of the neck of any farmer below

and what do you no ... those damm boy racers

They are every were , the mess ... jeepers

Think i fly a little more and lighting the load .

PMDG 747X , Cathay cargo livery d/load from PMDG site

but the scenery ... really makes it real

Yah Paul's right - there you are, slapping a little paint on the roof, when you look up for some reason...Oh Oh...Jumbo Incoming - to Wanaka!

FSX Wanaka is really good, I think there was a performance issue with the FS9 edition which forced the use of default photoreal.
This one is nicely bounded by custom textures within the perimeter.

Nice shots Ian- And they even have a kiwi connection....sort of (well, apart from the scenery of course) That repaint depicts one of the aircraft that my brother was flying for a while across the Pacific.......over 10 hours of intense boredom he reckons haha.
