Hey guys,

It's been a while since I've posted some screenies, but I have been actually FLYING once again for a change and loving it!! biggrin.gif

I've had a ball flying around the bottom of the South Island of late! So I thought I would update you on my adventures smile.gif :

Heading to Invercargill via the Fiords:

Invercargill to Dunedin:

Dunedin to Timaru:

I must say that I really enjoyed these flights, the first one took me from Milford Sound to Invercargill along the coast and it was one of the most enjoyable VFR flights I've ever done! The scenery along the way took my breath away!

Love the photoreal areas at Invercargill and Timaru as well...just makes for wonderful flying!! New_Zealand_etc.gif

Cheers
Florian

Very nice Florian, agree about those photoreals, one should spend a little time with them...
I lost track with Dunedin, what's the latest scenery there?

Awesome shots - must try a couple of those flights myself.

Whats that in the sky as you approach Invercargill (4th shot down) - or is it a dirty windscreen?

..and thats a nice colour scheme - is it one you have made up?

I wondered that too, even rubbed my screen to make sure it wasn't at this end lol. Look like WW2 aircraft defence balloons!

Cheers guys smile.gif

The things in the sky at Invercargill are hot air balloons that come with the photoreal scenery...For Dunedin area I'm not using anything but the Topo & Mesh scenery but I stumbled across a photoreal offering on Flightsim.com today blink.gif D'oh!!

And yes, the repaint I modded (plagurised wink.gif ) myself to resemble ZK-EJG.
