When I'm not flying around this awesomely modeled country we live in, I really enjoy fanging around Europe...
A recent investment was the Austria Pro and Salzburg sceneries
Anyone who knows me, knows how much I dislike flying Tubeliners... However, there is a really really nice MD Super 80 over at Flightsim.com by a guy named Alex Alonso thumbup1.gif
FSX only, no VC, but a very detailed 2D, working (including multiplayer) TCAS, FID screens and a well integrated ILS autoland coupler for the AP.

Thats where the show ends sad.gif The flight was running from LOWS to LIPZ (Aerosoft's Venice scenery), but a couple of seconds after the last screenshot I was left sitting in the dark after the power died...

Nice shots/scenery & a/c - looks like a quiet day at Salzburg

Cheers mate!
It was a quiet day there alright, I usually run my AI at 1-5% in FSX to keep things nice and smooth...
That, and the fact that 99% of my flying is done on a multiplayer server means that AI is not a priority for me smile.gif

No AI ohmy.gif eh?
AI is the moving part of the scenery, mate!
You are missing out on more than half of the experience!!
Flying without wings, landing with no wheels, these are easy in comparison... ninja.gif
Might as well sit in a soapbox and go Brrrmmmmm plane.gif mphh

Nah, I'd rather take in the scenery at the highest, smoothest framerate possible... with no AI I can achieve an easy 24-30FPS over any of this scenery with all sliders to the right (water effects to medium-high) biggrin.gif
Add one notch of AI and I've found that the dreaded "texture spikes" start (for those that don't know, imagine tall spikes bleeding upwards off trees, buildings etc blink.gif they multiply until it looks like you're flying through a forest canopy at 1FPS or FSX crashes)
