After taking the default DC-3 up for a flight at the weekend, I could not resist another go with it, and today I flew her again, across the notoriously stormy Cook Straight, Wellington (NZWN) to Nelson (NZNS).

11. The rain stopped for a few seconds as I turned towards the airport
