I really miss this aircraft. Limited only to night freight flights these days, it seems amazing to think they once were common passenger airliners.

Love the repaint - nice job of keeping the Air Link Metro alive.

What is the model? Nice paint scheme by the way.

Would you mind telling me how you get this aircraft to fly!
I have max torque and full RPM with a half loaded aircraft and I have difficulty rotating and once airborne it wont accelerate or climb. What could be wrong? The installation is straight forward.

Hmm that's a new one. I have the problem when i pull the throttles back below flight idle the A/C drops out of the sky 12,000 ft/m. But mine when full throttle climbs like a cut goat. May b go to flightsim.com and download it from there?

I got it to work by downloading Mike Stones orig Smetro3.zip and took the .air file from there and replaced the metro23.zip aircraft with it. Now flies much better...well it actually flies now! Flies nice and great sound too.
Any chance of getting a copy of the repaint Waka?

Thats great I will take a look later. I think that the Garrett sounds in the orig file are quite realistic. Hopefully the BSMP Metro will be finished soon.

Thanks for the repaint there Waka...looks great. I am really enjoying this machine. I have altered the panel to tidy up the radio window so it opens up next to the existing NAV/COMMs and incorporated a transponder and TCAS. If you are running Lee Haetheringtons TCAS in anything else then this will work for you too. A free download anyway if you haven't yet. I need to find a more readable HSI and an altimeter with Hectopascals instead of Inches. I have never been a great fan of Mike Stones aircraft but this one really takes my fancy and I might have to revisit what else he has done. If you want to change your panel then cut and past the following text over the corresponding WINDOW entries in your panel config.

I am not sure if it will work in FSX or not. Give it a try and see.
The package can be downloaded from AVSIM file name: ilh_tcas_v4.zip
His name is Hetherington without the a.

The paint is great thanks. To make it easier for downloaders trying to install your paint might I suggest that you include a config entry so that it can be cut and pasted into the aircraft config file?
Something like:

[fltsim.X]
title=Fairchild SA 227AC Metro III PaintNSI
sim=metro3
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=NSI
kb_checklists=Metro_23_check
kb_reference=Metro_23_ref
atc_id_color=0x00ffffff
atc_id=C-GYXL
ui_manufacturer=Fairchild/Swearingen
ui_type=SA 227AC Metro III
ui_variation=Air Nelson
description=Something here about Air Nelson
atc_airline=Air Nelson
atc_flight_number=
atc_id_font=Verdana,-11,1,600,0
visual_damage=0
atc_parking_types=GATE (whatever link use)

You could also include a file called Texture.NSI and have all the relevant textures within it.
I know that most simmers would know what to do but there are those that could end up in trouble and it would possibly save you having to field all their anxious installation questions.
Once again thanks for this it is great.

model is totally complete (has been for sometime) VC isnt done and as usual we dont have a gauge designer so we will probably be looking at a freeware panel. FDE is curently in BETA...

After your other models i can imagine the exterior of the mode to be orsum! thumbup1.gif
