Goose,
My FS9 Addons are installed directly into the FSX/Addon Scenery folder with all the tre.bgl files in the each of the "Addons" Scenery Folder deleted...the FS9 Static Objects Lib (SOL) must be installed and activated in FSX in the normal manner with individual "addons" placed below the SOL in the FSX Scenery Lib. There are No AirfieldAF2.bgl's are placed in any other FSX folders.
Most of Laurie's FS9 addons appear to work ok ...the only downside is that the FSX default autogen buildings appear in most of the "addons" ....and of course, there are not so many trees!!
I customised many of my NZ FS9 airfield's (AF2's) to include "static" aircraft and they appear the same in FSX with the individual airfield FS9 Traffic.bgls installed in the FSX/Scenery/World/Scenery Folder)...and of course the appropriate aircraft must be installed in FSX.
Re Wanganui......here is a screenshot.....and hope you can get it to work for you!!

What's that "Orange nosed Waddling Duck" in the 2nd screenshot of NZNP? Looks like some kind of a jet trainer ?

Hiya Bob.
Looks like all you really need to do is find an FSX tool to make excludes for the default agn buildings, and an FSX Object Placer tool to replace all the missing trees, and and FSX tool for making an appropriate FSX AFCAD.
Really surprising that most of them actually work in FSX.
I was pleasantly surprised by the pics you e-mailed me of my new NZDN Dunedin scenery in FSX,........... actually didnt look too bad at all !!
Have you tried NZWP Whenuapai in FSX ???
Lawrie.

anyway they are looking good
Bob,......... i would agree with Mike,........... his NZAP Beta version for FSX would be a much better bet for Taupo than my old FS9 scenery.
You should try it !!

EDIT: Dont worry! I actually had a read and it says it quite clearly. I must have just been looking at the pictures
EDIT2: Were do you get the SOL from, Is it on the FS9 disk or do you download it? Sorry for the questions
You have to download the SOL.....refer Lawrie Roache's "Read Me Texts" in each Addon specifying download instructions for the SOL and also refer to this NZFF link...http://nzff.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9686
FYI my FSX SOL is currently 532 Mb's!!

Thanks, Bob, for the info. I had a guess that it was some kind of 50's BritDesign, but wasn't too sure where to check first.
