Thanks for all the brilliant entries guys- I think this competition must of been one of our most successful ever, many genuinely interesting and clever submissions to choose from.

I'm not sure if I still need to outline the rules after having done this each month for 3 years now (Yep, NZFF turned 3 on April 26th, so we're now into our 4th year!), however, for those of you who can't remember:

Please only vote once, and not for yourself. You may do this even if you haven't entered a shot in the actual competition, the more votes the better. Also, once you have voted, please do not disclose who you voted for.

This poll will stay open until 8pm on Tuesday 5th May, and whoever has the highest amount of votes at that time will receive the Carenado payware prize, as well as having their image cropped into the main website banner for the next month.

All fantastic entries guys. Loved this theme, would definitely approve future competitions of a similar nature (Perhaps allowing Australian Photos )

What a bummer that the best entries (imnsho of course) won't crop well to banner size - maybe you could specify a max image height as well as a max width in future comps ?

Its a bit of a bummer to have to come all the way across the ditch just to get a photo to enter maybe the next one should be a photo of real aviation Australia then all us guys will have to have a quick trip across the ditch to if we want to enter
