It's been a while since I've posted in here actually...been doing some flying around Europe latley. Most Recently I have just started some VFR flying around Holland.
The first leg of my exploration of the Netherlands will take me from Eelde (Groningen) to Noordoostpolder in the North of the country.
Here are some shots of the flight:
I got my hands on a Diamond Katana for the duration of my Dutch adventures...the perfect VFR aircraft!
Off we go!
Climbing away to the south...
...then we follow the highway down there for a while
Coming up to the city of Assen
And the racing circuit of the same name nearby. Home of the Dutch Moto GP. Wonder if Rossi & Stoner are down there today? :wink:
We continue south towards Hoogeveen...
...which we reach a short time later
Hoogeveen was our que to head east...
We really picked a great day to fly...the weather's perfect!
The little Katana seems to be enjoying it all as well.
We take one more opportunity to look around...
...this is what flying is all about! :thumb:
We reach the marshlands to the east of Steenwijk and begin our decent.
Approach into the airfield of Noordoostpolder
Well that was it for now....hope you enjoyed it and will join me on the next leg!
The scenery is VFR Netherlands by Horizon Simulations(Boxed by Aerosoft) and the aircraft is the Diamond Katana by Digital Aviation (again Boxed by Aerosoft)
