Was a nice day today so did a flight from Invercargill-Queenstown-Milford Sound-Queenstown-Invercargill. Took a Piper Archer II again, this time EBQ. These are a few shots I took on the Queenie->Milford leg. Sorry for the poor quality, blame the shoody camera on my cellphone
Anyway enjoy...Just past Lake Luna and soon to cross the northern part of Lake Wakitipu for Elfin Bay.

Looking back towards ZQN

Over Elfin Bay and looking towards where the Greenstone Valley comes out, I took the Caples on my journey to Milford, the Greenstone on the way out.

Still over Elfin Bay and looking towards the top of Lake Wakitipu, Glenorchy and the Rees and Dart rivers. Real Lord of the Rings stuff!

Up the Caples to the Divide and then around the corner to overhead the Hollyford Strip. Plenty of snow around!

Looking down the Hollyford valley and out to sea.

Just up Moraine Creek now, there's Lake Adelaide and the pass just beyond it that we will go through into Milford Sound.

After crossing Adelaide and starting our descent, excuse the prop!

Further descent up the northern side of the sound.

The mighty Mitre Peak.

Just after a 180 degree turn at the mouth of the sound to track for NZMF

Landed now and a shot of the plane I took, and some of the other Milford tourist traffic. Mainly Cessna's today with a few Islander's as well.

And one last shot after taking off again from Milford, and tracking back overhead the field after gaining some height to clear the passes and back to Queenstown. Sorry about the resolution.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed - feel free to comment
