HUNTER R AT SINGLETON 13.96m steady at 730pm Sat 09/06/07

river is at 14.1m aprrox 900mm more and its OVER the bank

Well i'm ok for now the river peaked at 14.01 at 2am this morn and is now slowy fallying

thats good to hear, it can get interesting in those situations, i have been there done that!!!

bugger that id be sitting up in the ceiling with me computer and hammer ready to pop a hole in the roof for when the water rises
i havent seen to much detail on the deaths and where they were ...RIP for them and best wishes to those familys affected by such a storm and bad run

i had to laugh on the radio news after this had happened, a resident was saying that they wanted to know how and why this happened and how to prevent it from happening again, i thought it was obvious what had caused this, a hell of a lot of rain and bone dry ground, never make a good combination, such a shame about the people killed
