An idea about the "lack" of entries, maybe do something where you don't have to post them in the topic, but must PM them to you? Maybe people don't post because they don't think their screenie will be good enough because the people with lots of screenshot experience have posted up early? Just a thought.

That is an idea - but we have to publish the screenshots anyway for the voting. Its a little tricky to do the voting without actually seeing the photo. So, either way people have to see the image. winkyy.gif

I think what he means is not showing the screenshots in a thread where you can see who the best is pretty much straight away before voting- have a secret submission, then admin post them up to vote.
I think posting them up stimulates a little competition- and if the thread was quiet, people would forget.

Changed my mind and decided to go with this one.

Ohakea based F-16 (part of the excellent RNZAF AI package) overhead the Manawatu Gorge.

I do believe that's the first time I've seen an AI plane in a screenshot competition! thumbup1.gif
Edit, after comment below: If it's the HTAI model, then it's AI.
If it's the Olssen model, not.
But if it's the Olssen model, where's the RNZAF Anniversary paint??

Sorry Charl

I should clarify my wording it was probably a bit misleading(not intentional). I'm piloting this one but it is the one used in the AI package and is the one that we needed to download to create the AI.

But I like the idea of capturing an AI aircraft.

What I meant was (but I suck at describing, don't comment on this comment) like have people send then in via pm for the first week, allow the people nervous to get theres up before the "hard-core" screenshots can be posted in.

Anywayssssss I'm off screenshot hunting now.

Here is my shot

Somewhere in the Marlborough Sounds Oh and one more thing...can you use a boat? There is nothing in the rules about is. I know it won't be wanted because it ain't a boat simulator but sometimes a sea level shot on comp like this could get some remarkable results

(I don't think this is too big but correct me if I'm wrong)

Sorry... been tied up in Poland with my RW job and a couple of Betas (non-NZ) so I have been a wee bit too much busy.

Idea (inspired by the "PM" post above. Of course you have to publish the screenies for voting...

Do it anonymously. Just publish a number. Then let's see winkyy.gif

oO0, in response to your question, boats are fine. As you said, there are no rules or regulations about it, so go for it if you wish winkyy.gif

Nice to hear from you too Cbris!

The textures are payware FScene for FS9. I got mine on sale from Flightstore. Around NZD24.00

You used to be able to get a demo (Spring only) as freeware off the FScene website.
They are also available for FSX.
