Tim , I recall the show , mentioned above had the AN40 designation(or then), but built by Beriev , the 'AN' maybe partner (Antonov) possibilly ... and with the western(NATO)codename Albatross , heck even i have very little on this anphibian/flying boat , and appears to have not been a success or no further devolpment .
Maybe hasegawa could have further info on the type.
