My PPL Air Tech exam

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Postby Matthew » Mon May 05, 2008 6:44 pm

I just got my results for my PPL Aircraft Technical Knowledge exam. The percentage required to pass is 70%, I got 90% :D

I'm really happy, because it was quite a hard exam :D

Well done... you know have 2 years to do your other PPL exams (and then 3 years from the date you pass your last one to get your license)

I have to start my CPL ones soon... and I am not looking forward to it :( Have not had to do any serious study for a while, as I did all my PPL exams back in 2003

Maybe I should just pay chargemore the money and see if they'll let me join one of their CPL groundcourses... I suck at self study :ph43r:

Meh...

AFS: "Are you going to be doing your flying with us?"
Me: "Errrr, no"
AFS: "Sorry, our ground courses are only for students who will be flying with us"

:(

Trevor Thom here I come... can anyone recommend any other good self study books?
