My next leg took me on the short hop from St Barthelemy to Saint Martin.

BN-2 - Winair. Great, nifty little aircraft!

Ready for startup

New day, new runway.

Quick taxi and straight off departure

I'm going to miss Gustav

Only 15min air time!

The "lawnmower"

Fog... :-(

Visual approach...

Finals over the beach

Large runway, small plane!

Quick taxi and shut down.

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

Last leg to upload tonight:

TNCM - Saint Martin to KMIA - Miami

A 737-800. 2nd time. Probably not going to be the last either!

Pushback and start up is quick at this airport

Quite a bit of smaller traffic...

...though there is a lot of American airplanes too.

A long wait for back-tracking aircraft...

Finally!

Quick turn around and throttle up the engines

Yet another American airliner!

Climbing

Cruise is a beautiful/photogenic phase of flight.

Soon I am over Miami starting my approach to KMIA

Flaps down. 6 mile final.

Gear down and locked. A real dirty landing!

Although a bit of a heavy touchdown!

Not much need for reversers on this long runway

Who's hub is this? That's right, American!

Great pics , EXANZEng Phil mentioned the AA American Airlines aircraft were so polished it was affectively reducing drag but thinniing the skins measures killing the frame life of the aircraft .

Ok, next leg.
Trying to upload these ASAP.

This one is starting to get unusual.
Miami to Tegucigalpa in Honduras.
1,800m runway. Hard for international jet operations.

Only a night in Miami. the gate used was the one next to the one I parked in yesterday but a night=different aircraft

Considering the size of the airport, and the USA's traffic jam reputation, a 5min taxi was relatively good methinks.

Little traffic meant that I was soon throttled up and ready to go

Climbing away

Once again I am in the clouds

Reaching the coast of Honduras

After 4hrs my descent was imminent

Fog is never a good sign at an airport in steep terrain with no ILS!

Can you spot the airport?

Really is an airport in the city though

Finals...

I think it was a bit of a rushed landing so as not to run out of runway

Breaking hard is necessary at this airport.

Though the size enables a quick taxi

Nice airport scenery actually.

One more leg to add...

After a short stay in Honduras, I was back on my way north. This time going from MTGH-KIAH (Houston intercontinental)

In my view, stairs are much more fun to use for boarding

Got my route planned in the FMC...

After pushback, engines were started and flaps were down

One final check and we have ground clearance to taxi

Full throttle. Brakes held on to give full thrust when disengaged

Right turn in the fog to avoid terrain

Nice calm climb to a cruising altitude of FL360

A comfortable cruise for the passengers. They can even enjoy some lunch.

Nearing the T/D - VNAV, it's a wonderful tool

On approach

Runway ahead, established on ILS

Flaps and gear set and checked

Flare...

Touchdown

After a short taxi, I approached my gate...

Final resting place. My next flight takes me on another Continental 737...
