I'm pretty sure there was a repaint set available of the Skyhawks when the additional batch of A-4G's(?) were delivered from the RAN, still in the low-vis grey Naval scheme but with RNZAF roundels. Would look cool with those birds flying off the deck!

Hey Fauville (and others, I know there are lots of Air Force fan-boys here winkyy.gif I bought this skyhawk pack too, had a blast around the other night but found the bird was real slippery, was real hard to manage speed and esp to slow up for approach. Now I know this is probably the whole idea of a fighter to be fast and slippery, but does seem crazily so compared to some other fighter types I've flown in fsim. Anyone else got this model or have any feedback?

FS9 Daniel.

I agree with Ian, the Ta-4s are quite stable, found the 2 seaters more fun to fly than the singles, but still quite a handful juggling attitude and airspeed on carrier approach. Rather unforgiving if you let the airspeed drop below 120 close to the fantail ohmy.gif I added the RBCO-20 gauges to the Ta-4 with the miljet ball hud, spent to much time looking at the moving lines on the hud and not watching the airpeed etc, so settled for visual approach now I've a few traps under the belt.

Deeknow, airbrakes on with higher throttle setting on approach

Redkiwi, the Ta4 pack has the TA-4G in that 1982 scheme, just need to swap out the Kangi-roo with a kiwi roundel, might have a play around....

Also swapped out the HUD with the one from Kirk Olssen's F-16 on the Kahu models, much better. Check your config for Turbine data on the A-4kahu, reads 7700, should be 9300 for the J52

Helicopters can't actually fly. Their just so ugly that the world repels them. :)
