That would interesting for us young ones to see and react in FSX. Do you have any reference on this mission for flight planning? This would be a great opertunity for a challenge and learning.

That is nothing to do with the sim and everything to do with the quality of the models being used.....if the modeller set up their textures with the parameters for 'shiny and plasticky' then that is exactly what with the sim will render.

I have a FS DC10 , today we can recreate the errors and build a true idea , we can create the weather , there were a few questions why McMurdo did not mention the flight path .. but to prove a point the next year 1979 , had a C141 return from the ice crash landing at NZCH , comms went through ...... dont matter , point is , 30 years later , with the DATA , can we build the same 'senerio' .. flightplan ... create and learn .
