Took my wifes new camera (which I will get to use on the odd occasion when I get to an airport or airshow) for its first outing.......need a bit more practice...

After I saw the Zero on the weather report, I just knew that man on the spot would have his ear to the ground - so I came looking!
Well done Paul, I'm tempted to take the day off and go to Wanaka this year just to see it fly.
Did they start the engine?

It is funny , from the Movie 'Tora Tora Tora' , lands the new version off the Zero 'say s ' "this is the new model with folding wings laugh.gif

Thanks guys ...yep saw the engine running (which is an American radial..not the Japanses Sakai)..last pic ahows it running (my shutter speed needs changing) - unfortunately didn't see it fly - I had to go and it took off just after I left
