I had a tip from a certain somebody at NZFF (thanks!) that the Flight1 Bn-2 Islander was finally out, so I have now downloaded it and took it out for a test flight. You are going to be very impressed by the sounds on this model, and it is going to be a great add-on for NZ. A few test shots here to show a local paint job:-

Need a repaint now for Aspiring Air,

smooth landings.

very Nice.
I have many happy memories of flying between Alexandra and Dunedin and back in the Mt Cook Islander. In the winter we would chase rabbits across the frozen lakes.

Wow...were going to be running into each other....i think there are already enough of us with it to form a squadron.
I really think (only my opinion) this is the best payware Ive ever seen.
HT, your right about the sounds....amazing! Adam, great screens thumbup1.gif , Bigbird....nice to see you back smile.gif

Take care out there

It certainly appears to have "quality" stamped all over it. I spent a good few hours (hiding from chores winkyy.gif) stooging around snapping away for the May screenshot comp. It just feels right and - yes - the sound is good too. Who knows, I may even try to get to grips with the GPS on this one!

For some reason, I detest those vulgar little biz-props/biz-jets (they smack too much of "new money" laugh.gif) ... the Islander seems far more appropriate in NZ skies!

You hit the nail on the head Adam....the BN is an honest what you see is what you get aircraft. Ive had many happy hours in both (now gone sadly) of the Wings over whales Islanders at Kaikora.
I remember one pilot telling me that they set the power by decibels rather than rpm.....noisy little critter.
Gotta go and do my part of the deal now.....look at curtains.....gee.......but then Im going flying.....door locked winkyy.gif

Thanks Splitpin, been kept busy lately selling photo prints and other items on TradeMe. Also have a dive article to complete. Still been having a squizz at NZFF when I get a chance.

Haven't had a chance to fly that CS767 for a couple of weeks though. sad.gif

Once I get my hands on this a/c though drool.gif
