A few more photos from Madeira. Such a great place for photos, nice hillside overlooking the runway, and also cafes nearby so I will be spending even more time there. Part 2 of the Sunday photos.......

Smooth landings.

Makes me think why has somebody not built a cafe there, about 200m from the touchdown point, and sloped roads in both directions, so easy to get exactly the angle that you want. Also the roads put you well above the security fence, so no problem with wire mesh. Is it possible to take a bad photo with these sorts of conditions?

smooth landings.

Happy , as you well no Wanaka has a vantage point almost the same , have to admit i have never watched a show up the side off that hill , but the idea off a 'Cafe' , now that would so cool !

i watched the wanaka airshow form tha side of them thar hills, was great, no one standing in the way, and almost at pilot level on the low passes, recommend it as a good spot if you have got a great big lens!!! Nice pics, i don't think you could take a bad picture, well maybe if you left the lens cap on or had the camera the wrong way extreme close up of your nose tongue.gif

In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.
