Bit of snow still around on the hills. But a good area to fly around in, mountains and also ocean nearby, plus the Marlbourough Sounds, so very scenic. And no shortage of emergency landing places either. Good colour aircraft for screenshots, nice contrast against the background, and the shots give a good idea of the Waiaru valley. Perhaps time to take the C206 out of Picton Koromiko and have a look at this area more......
