At least the last three WAW made up for 2002 IanI remember the rain, what a pain that was, especially as I was working there for it
I was also at the last WOW and the first day was good, then it got a bit overcast on the second, but otherwise it was still a great airshow for its size and I had a lot of fun, albeit the '37 Lloyds Carrier I had volunteered to drive for the vintage vehicle display decided to pack up and required a tow off the runway verge
. I would have still gone this year if I was in the NI as it is a great little show nonetheless, and a damn side cheaper than Wanaka

Lets hope that Sunny Blenheim turns it on for us at Easter

Ripping around the airfield in an old Bren gun carrier , you guys and your war games during the shows are brilliant , had a 'Vintage Arms display' at Pioneer Stadium 4/5 years back and had good chat to many who do battles during the airshows
, I was the WWII Navy contingent .
