Stearman

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Driving my lovely Stearman around the place, it's tempting to take a lot of screenshots.
I give in - frequently - and then sometimes play with the end result too.
Not sure which of these creates the best cockpit atmosphere, so here they all are, starting with a relatively unworked version

EDIT And the answer is: probably the one that has the least done to it!
Although the "pencil effect" last one is interesting I reckon.

Simply Just Cartoon it , i think my own hand could create something a little , wont be better but original . A damn good preview , the PC for you - its the imagination off freehand that will shoot that down unsure.gif

So we haven't seen some original artwork from you for a while...how about a nice cockpit rendering then?

By number three I'm wondering where are my reading glasses and number four begs the question - should I have had that last drink? rolleyes.gif

Not sure we needed to see all that lot quoted again!
These "arty" effects are a bit like giving a kid a loaded shotgun, eh?
It's unanimous then:
Wing Commander Warren should produce the next artistic rendering by hand.
Only requirement: no guns! (too easy)

Apologies - in the U.S. that's called a screw-up.

True to the medium? I probably don't really understand what that would mean...I did use a mouse y'know.

OK this'll make your eyes bleed then...think I'll hang this one at the local art show with a tag of $100,000 and call it "Stearman Cockpit"

Wing Commander, you better move fast, things are deteriorating here.

Alistair there's very little skill involved... I ran this lot through MS Photodraw, which has an effects pallet.
That one is called "posterize".
I assume other editing software would have an equivalent.
