Back in the seventies, our Civil Air Patrol had one of these T34's - fun to fly.

Nice shots..no T-34s here in NZ...have you flown one? I hear that they have wing spar problems?

Robs 'old' screen shot plane , every scenery made in Godzone 2002/2004 promotion screens always showed the good ole Mentor so makes it the real Oldy cool.gif

As the type ages, spar crack problems increase. The FAA grounded them for a while and an approved fix is mandatory. The one we flew was restricted on airobatics but I heard it did all the positive stuff quite well.

Hi Dave - nice aircraft!!

I'm intrigued by the blue canopy on #1 - as I get this occasionally. Is this an FS9 aircraft in FSX - with (maybe) DX10 preview mode enabled?

Though Carenado might choke to admit it, I think it is - tarted up for FSX. Half price sale last year so no complaints. Negative on the DX10 preview.
