Lovely biggrin.gif
You've captured the "plane spotter viewpoint" very very well!

Mind doing an experiment for me SP? I see you have "aircraft casts shadows on itself" turned on. Care to see for me how your FPS are with this turned on, against with it turned off? Just curious to see if you notice a difference (I do)
Cheers!

Nice shot Splitpin.
Do you know if that livery is available for the FS9 Captain Sim C130?
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Yup, if I am not mistaken it is a "Dax" Sweetman work:

On which topic, watch this space as Vlad has updated his C-123

I've been tidying up the hangar, and found some effects like this one.
I can't recall where from, but I see there's a similar Heather Sherman one at AVSIM:
Filename: fxad-01.zip

I also found some flare effects for my C-17 - it's all I can do to stop myself flying loops at dusk...

Cowpatz that one must have been lost in the avsim hack, but you can find it for FS2004 on flightsim.com
Just do the advanced search option, and search for "dax zealand" and you'll find the FS2004 version. (rnzaf_60.zip)
Enjoy

Al....i cant detect any change in frame rates....mind you, my system is far from being a benchmark....Im getting between 5 and 7 !! with all the settings the way i like them......hence the 15mins per screen unsure.gif

ohh! I see! You are right. A loss of 15% when at 7fps isn't going to change much in the grand scheme of things smile.gif That's what I figure I lost having aircraft shadows on. Well, I couldn't tell from your great shots that you were down that low so big thumbs up from me winkyy.gif Thanks for testing for me.
