Heh heh. Wow, what an experience that would be (but I think 35 hours in the air's enough in one go).

Interestingly, the owners of G-AGTM in my avatar run a flight school alongside the museum and apparently you can have the chance to fly the old girls including their Rapides. I expect you'd have to have a lot of logged hours before they'd let you loose with one though, as most are single seaters with no room for the instructor! ninja.gif

We had a documentary on TV 20/25 years back .. still have it on VHS , covering all aspects of aviation , one happened to about the Imperial Airways HP-42s heading to Cairo - some amazing film , speeds were slower than the Rapide at times .. 'what an experience' oh yeah smile.gif

Drat - I know. I should've checked the topic first before spending all the time screengrabbing sad.gif

No worries though - I'll replace it I think, as I'm not *that* keen on it!

EDIT : One Cold War jet replaced by another!
