Mirage over Auckland

Much as I like the moody Vulcan for my July screenshot entry, I was impressed by the [Rollus] Mirage 2000 that paid a flying visit to Whenuapai. Is this one better than the Vulcan shot (here)?



The Mirage is a superb looking aircraft - mean-looking but also extremely elegant. How very French!!

Pretty hard to beat a shot of a Vulcan thou.

Not me man .... ya follow the history the old 2000 still dose not compare to the III , but still a great 80's/90's plane

I've actually had it a while - on my old system, but it never made it onto the new upgrade. You had to register on the Rollus site/forum to get the link. Looks like it's all dead now, so not sure where you'd get it from now. I did a quick search on the usual FSim sites - but nothing - not even on the French Rikoooo site.

I've gone back to liking that Vulcan shot

I went looking for it after watching a kick-ass FSX video* on youtube a couple of months ago. I discovered the maker had set legal implications for any unauthorised distribution.
Any ideas

I can understand the maker wanting to control distribution when it was still active. A shame that it wasn't offered to one of the regular/legal FS sites before the Rollus site went down. Whoever the maker is, it's still his property - so I don't think anyone will want to distribute the file without his permission. I wonder how you contact him now though?

I do go on the Rikooo site from time to time - and would have thought if anyone wanted to add that file to their archive it'd be them. Maybe they tried and got nowhere. My French is a tad rusty

Love the lines of the Mirage 2000. You cant get the 2000 anywhere now. Luckily I downloaded it before it disappeared...although I dont have it curretly installed....just might have to reinstall it.

Just a bloody pity people rip others work and put their names on it ... just as bad as these torrent sites were people rip paywares !

I tried there yesterday - and nothing looks familiar. I no longer have the original [zip] - only the expanded archive in a renamed backup directory. All this means is that I really haven't a clue what the original filename was that I grabbed a while back. We're talking a good couple of years ago now.
