Thanks Ian the Stearman is now taking passengers for scenic flights. Contact Jane or Ian at the Aviation Centre if anyone wants a flight.

Thanks Ian,

Yep! 35 Squadron RAAF is being reinstated and will fly 10 C-27's out of Richmond. At least something came out of the Budget for the Air Force.

I read that the RNZAF C-130's are going to be upgraded again to last another few years. Wounder what the airframes are like?

Cheers.

In engineering you can always replace parts , find out weakness's , i guess it just depends on how the govt look to see when the C-130s are past the use by date or till something dictates serious replacement and the C-27 would not fit that category ....

Well if ever you are lost? "Just turn right and follow your nose!".

A great old friend of mine who was an air traffic contoller at RAAF Williamstown said that to a lost F-18 Marine pilot one time. GOLD!!

Cheers.

Tim , get dropped in the West Coast bush , crikey so easy to get lost .. no direct sun nor direction .. first thing to do is check the light then go downhill - you will find your way home , may require a little walk but you get to learn to navigate in a special way .
