Bags not been a train driver. Jeepers those loco's make a bang when they get hit, some pilots obviously got a bit close and looks like they could have taken a hit from the debris they throw up. Another tip for pilots is loose you drop tank when being fired apon. Good viewing.

Jeez, that was even better than "we have Smirnoff" !!

Try this one, you'll be holding your breath for more than just the takeoff ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDu0jYiz-v8

Hardcore, i just had watch that one on the Stuff website, man when the passanger said that they hit an air pocket and lost altitude, i thought Hang on a minute, they never got to any significant altitude in the first place. The pilot had heaps of time to realise that and put down in the tundra before they got to the forest. Is was obvious he never could have completed a turn back to the runway as they were not able to gain any altitude in the 1st place and would probably have just stalled had they attempted a turn. Check out that area on google earth with Orbx CRM. Airfields in that area are at approx 4000 ft. Looks like an intersting area to fly in up the frank church river of no return. Certainly wasnt for those guys who are lucky to be alive.

How the rest of the world does aviation:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-F-cBF5ZbQ...ature=endscreen

I lived in Ecuador for 3 years (1979-1981) and flew into the jungle via a good old (unpressurized) DC3 - it's all very "seat of the pants" stuff (exactly as seen on this video - but of course 30-odd year's ago). You can imagine how much fun the CAA would have - nothing in South America would ever leave the ground... tongue.gif

I've been following these STOL competitions in Alaska for some time. These planes seem to ignore the laws of physics, especially if they get a bit of a headwind.

I kept practicing with what's available in FSX, and the I found that you can get the same results with the A2A Cub, the Sibwings Birddog, and the Flight Replicas Super Cub.
