Does the light version have red spoilers/slat/flaps?

Only the very early introduce had the red .. quick paint due the upcoming KAHU mod's , one thing did notice was the formation strips (lightning)on the tail and rear fuse and nose .

The lighter i think is only weathering .. as i mentioned to you before , seemed each panel was slightly different only due to maintenace , so appear to be lighter .

yes it is

AWESOME!!! You little rippa kcgb!
I was going to let this one go throught to the keeper..... But now there will be a RNZAF A-4, I had better go and get it!

I believe the "light Green" ones had no red spoiler, slats and flaps.

Just saw your post about this over at SOH, and wanted to say again that it looks like you did a great job. This may entice me to part with my money and buy this model!
It also looks, not surprisingly, that the SOH crowd is being a little dense today regarding the photos. laugh.gif

Dont forget J7 its only a G , i would have thought be easy to have the square tipped similar to the K variant ..even the US navy operated them .. in the late 60s .. course be great to look at a T-bird .

If you'll allow a bit of pedantry for a moment, kcgb, the helmets should be green too smile.gif Otherwise, damn awesome.
