If you'll allow a bit of pedantry for a moment, kcgb, the helmets should be green too smile.gif Otherwise, damn awesome.

When I get up and running again - will have to get this or the Sabre. Which one though?

Both the same price , the only New Zealand connection is the Sabre is the one your family jump through every now and again ... it has more working features - both internal externally a brilliant , the Skyhawk is required because it is , good textures inside .. in think with further work externally , panel line with extra work .. it would be equal , in my case also being Carrier Ops course required for New Zealand Kahu Ohakea cool.gif

Thank you so much for your RNZAF repaint kcgb!

Have you found an awful loud squeeling sound coming from the brakes on your aircraft? I only get it in the VC mode?

Also are the "speed brakes" attached to the fuselage suppose to work too? I know the spoilers work but I can not for the life of me find the leaver/switch for the speed brakes?

Cheers.

Tim....

6th of April 1986 , using this scheme , I have a photo here showing WHITE helmets as they escorted the Concorde in on its first visit to New Zealand

Looks to have three colours as well , greyish blue on a white base , one painted black and another movie special white one side and checker other for a Walt Disney movie ... guess that would be an over kill laugh.gif

Currently this one is looking my favourite cool.gif

Hey kcgb, don't know if this page is any help to you but I found it interesting from an historic point of view.

I had no idea that our skyhawks origonaly had the humps. Does anyone have knowledge of them and there removal and reasons?

They were removed when the avionics were updated.

IIRC it was always an empty shell, they didn't have any avionics in them at all. With the Kahu upgrade getting rid of it made sense since, again IIRC and my memory is hazy here, they got rewinged at the same time.

Does anyone else over approx 340 knots have the whole model 'shaking', and after shutdown a continuation in spot view from the front some 'engine sounds'?

Anyway, regardless having fun low level in the scooter, looking forward to the '80's scheme.
