I don´t know. Well, it is a good looking aircraft, but ... price and what it can do is in my eyes not enough. I hope, we get from QW a far better representation of the "Leukoplast-Bomber".

...then it must be more rivet counting hot air ...
Haha that's fighting talk!
No rivets on this as mentioned, it's the polys that don't do it for me.
If you've followed the development of this airliner as I have (Member of Boeing World Design Team - no kidding!) you'll know that the panoramic windows and their tinting is touted as one of the Big Features.
An FSX payware product that produces - what did Dave call them? hexagonal poker tables instead of windows??
They should have saved the polys and gone outside and pasted them to better effect on the distinctly non-round engine nacelles.

Elsewhere, sloppy modelling at fairing interfaces, and I swear the tailfin is the wrong shape.
And, cardinal sin: the main gear hangs incorrectly!

Marty, I tried to find the Real part to match your Sim shots, but failed.
Up to you to match what's on the web, then.
You'll see how subtle are the contours of this computer-generated jet, and how the model makes assumptions that are close but do not satisfy.

The QW external model captures this better.

As to the enjoyment, you are of course entitled.

i love my Yak-18, and will defend my right to love it, to the maximum capacity of my HDD.

And, what a great, disarming response!
We were posting simultaneously, as I edited my post to bemoan the landing gear.
As you know, this topic could cause me physical pain.
