Didn't know anything of SkyBus, any more info Ian?
Thanks.. Skybus was a consortium who basically tried to get around the govt airline restrictions back in the 70s buy creating a 'club' where you purchased a club membership and this entitled you to fly on the aeroplane. did not work, the paint on the aeroplane was basically still wet when it went down the gurgler, and never actually carried out a revenue earning service
Ian, i have the BAC 1-11 ready to go, and also the Trident to have a fly with aswell... im still trying to get my head around the INS in the VC-10 so i can fly some long haulLast edited by Kiwia1spad on Tue Nov 27, 2012 8:57 pm, edited 1 time in total.

INS , i got pretty good with that in the old days and generally the only long haul was to Australia , only ever did one world tour and happened to be on a QANTAS 747 200B 1997 , took about six weeks going through the planning using very old flight maps and an atlas just to give me some sort option or point direction , I found the old world log drawing so to keep track , noticed many added had not been put in but that gos without saying for scenery back then ... INS was a lotta fun .Last edited by Ian Warren on Tue Nov 27, 2012 10:59 pm, edited 1 time in total.
