I was doing a bitta research and it seems George Preddy , Don Gentile , John Thornell and John Godfrey were in competition against themselves , not for the amount of aircraft they shot down ... but a Moustache compo

Thanks guys. Ian....Hilarious! I never found that....but now, it seems is pretty apparent! LOL.
I believe the Ex-Guatemalan Mustang from the newly released WBS "Mustang-Tales: Post WWII and Navy" has a pilot with a Mustache if I'm not mistaken...I'll have to double check that...
