So many types , so many versions .. could only be done by a Boeing tho so very few left today .. nice screenie ... I did see a RC at Christchurch years ago , still the US Navy's domain back then cool.gif

Thanks Ian ... i can recall seeing a U.S Navy version here a few years back , not sure of the designation, but they use them to get comms with subs . The old 707 ....who would have thought .

I agree ... they are all classic , development of the 707 and associated variants was really fast , so it would hard to put the "classic" tag on any specific model .

Ian , just found out , the one i saw was an E-6 Hermes .... it was all white.

That would be interesting , the E6 were a 707 hull upgraded to the E8s , one i can confirm was the your earlier RC/KC-135/B717 was the type i saw , this did have dual refuel , the other lumps and bump gave the other part away ... pre Gulf war even then could not get a pic (did'nt really have a camera) but was blocked by a lot of Navy LC-130s .

Cheers Al ....just got a great book on all the 707 variants , this has to be the jet version of the DC-3 ..... meaning , nothing has come that can replace it.

Funny ole JonnyT rips around in a , think a model138 with all the smoke and thunder around and yet the Greenie's Godboys and Activists twiddle their thumbs ... bloody hypercrits rolleyes.gif
