The place to ask for help or solve each others technical issues and discuss hardware

Postby goingboeing » Tue Jun 18, 2013 10:36 pm

Hi guys i am sure this has probably been discussed before. I am wanting to get a new pc as my laptop pooped itself today. It couldnt come at a worse time as I am using fsx to practice for an upcoming flight test. I am looking at a budget around the $2000 maybe higher if eccessary its still cheaper than hiring a twin.

What specs do i need to look for? My old laptop is a vaio i7 with nvidia card it was ok untill it got loaded up with addons or busy sceneries eg orbxmelbourne or brisbane.

Any help would be greatly appreciated i never realised there was so many options or variations out there.
