August prize

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Postby BobL » Thu Sep 12, 2013 8:02 pm

I have had my eye on the BN2 islander for while now but never got around to buying it. So it did not take me long to decide when I seen it on the PC Aviator site.

Leaving Auckland on the first flight

Over the central North Island

I have moved to the South Island, so I thought I would change the islander. Over that beach at Martins Bay

I just had to land at Milford Sound

Big thanks to the sponsor PC Aviator and for Doug for arranging the competition each month

I can relate to that - these days I back up to a shop window to check my brake lights; I'm not as quick as I used to be biggrin.gif

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Excellent choice. I must say I was happy you chose the Islander. It is one of my favourites and an ideal aircraft for touring around NZ.
Congrats once again and I am sure we will sponsor another competition in the coming months smile.gif
