Thanks for the reply. It's only slightly more expensive than this plane (P3D2 academic version) so I don't think it's an extravagance. Only problem is, it's hard to go back to FSX IMHO.

Not so worried about the change, I re-install FS9 simply as a help-desk thingy for others, currently spend less time (slap on the wrist - Ouch that didn't hurt) in Flightsim ... dang! that did hurt!

It's actually because PMDG sees itself as a entertainment company and P3D isn't for entertainment purposes according to Lockheed Martin... So it's definitely up to PMDG what to do now, because the NGX, the 777 and the upcoming 747 V2 are great for training in my opinion!
