The latest update to the HJG website includes a new/old DC-10 model from SGA, the first paint scheme on the list is this one from Air NZ smile.gif Looks good, though no VC or decent panel for FSX, so ive aliased the Tom Ruth DC-10 2D to it, but cant get a VC to fit it yet. The HJG site has a pretty good CF-6 soundset for it available and it makes it pretty good.

Very attractive color combo in that paint scheme.

Nice one Spadman cool.gif They were one off the prettiest airliners ever built, still recall 1973 when it practiced in Christchurch doing circuits in the evening , there is a new one incoming shortly, I hope they do the paint justice.

Just a real disappointment the DC-10 got a bad wrap, most to bad engineer's and company policies .. read all the history , the pilots loved flying them ... that is well known across the world .

My first OZ trip 18 and WOW'ed to get on the flight deck , return flight into Christchurch was a North/Wester and steady as a rock , three tips , I think the biggest diff was the pilot view .. Tho from his window you could not see the wing , were as on the 747 you could see an outer engine and wing tip, this on the 200 series, 400 was much easier .. the ride in the DC-10 backseated is much the same as the rest .. least I always got the window seat smile.gif
