biggrin.gif They got shot down real quick - sorta been used to often before ... everyone knows a Blackbird .. another way off putting it being as common harmless as hell .. but when you get a couple together they can be fun to watch - especially some off the antics they do chasing each other.

hmm used to often?? Going through some of my history books and things, i see the RNZAF had the Jetabatics, Red Checkers, Kiwi Red and the Black Falcons. But i agree, if they keep the checkers, why not just put the checker Decal on the cowls like they did with the CT-4Es and be done with it.

Now I do Wonder what the outcry would be in the UK if the RED ARROWS were terminated ! ohmy.gif

A thought come to mind ... the new name ... "The Funky Chickens" just name the planes .. 'Helen Clark' 'John Key' 'Teapot' 'Don't recall' ... and if they crash ... we can all say, Weeeelllll dose that not not surprise us, they do that all the time laugh.gif

The fifth backup plane is going to be called 'Gerry Brownlee', won't need that .. It won't get off the ground anyway. tongue.gif

I sure hope this isn't close to the finished product - flew the old version which cost me five bucks (now freeware) and, to my unsophisticated eye, not a whole lot of difference.
