Ian.... :wink2: ...!

I have often wondered if Service personnel who fought in the various wars since WWII, Vietnam, South Atlantic, Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan, and now ISIS, etc, and witnessed all the folks killed and wounded in the conflicts, found any enjoyment in watching War Movies and Documentaries, balancing on one leg, with their Post Traumatic Stress?
Personally, since being in the thick of the Blitz destruction of the City of London and surrounding area, during WWII, I never found much enjoyment in anything to do with war.

I have been known to do a bit of CFS2 Multiplayer with some of the chaps a long time ago, but got fed-up with constantly sim-dying in a hail of .303 bullets, so I gave up that idea, and ever since have only "flown" General Aviation aircraft in the various Microsoft Flight Sims....

...much more relaxing, I find!

I was carried kicking and screaming conscripted into the British Army in 1955 at the age of 21, for two years, and I disliked every moment of it. Very glad to get demobbed, like the rest of my National Service Chums.
Nowadays, the only conflict that I get involved in is watching New Zealand; "Neighbours At War", on my TV.
More that enough warfare for my liking!.... :o ...!

I am more than happy to leave warfare to the US Marines...they always like getting involved in that sort of thing... :wink2: ...!

The World could well do without conflicts leading to Warfare.
But Humans being what they are, I suspect that will never end any time soon!... :( ...!

Paul....Off for a Flight Sim trip along Route 66 in my little Cessna 150!.... B-) ...!

I look at , its the same as "Neighbours At War" only on a large scale .. Ooo and who's got the bigger and better toys .. B-) , I think when you look at it, what about the convicts that were next-door - went to war with the neighbourhood , but you get people into human rights, tree huggers and the rest that go to those pointy places , keep chanting ... the Ned Flanders of the world type ... so then the War continues.
