He was the first to contact me on the finish off the "Strike a Lightning" .. his love aircraft !

It was indeed Ian , he sent me a paint he did for one from his old Sqn ......... He didn't say much , but he did say what he thought , and pulled me up a few times , but also gave a lot of support.
Bloody sad hes gone , makes you think about all the rest of us . I know this isn't the only place we all "live" ... but if someone drops of for a week ...I'll start to worry.... but i wont call the Ambo (Ian)

When it came to Lightnings he knew it all Ian , no body could compete . Not sure if that Sqn was one he worked on ... will have to check my old pm's .

Not the same as a drew ... he preferred the 56 but was with 74 Squadron , tho said was moved around a bit.
