Rain (and wind)

Postby toprob » Tue Mar 14, 2017 9:13 am

The recent weather bombs certainly help to remind us that winter is on the way... Here's a couple of shots taken over the last week. The Coromandel, clearing at last, and Wellington in the thick of it.

Yeah, least here in winter over the last few years it has been smooth .. no snow or crap, you still get the cold .. trouble with farmers its not enough or its to much, funny thing with all the water damage in Auckland , the council is saying not there fault ! ... Coromandel always is hit , just this one was a little more extreme.

Rob , great work .
Its just a shame the sim cant deliver rain as convincing as your work.

Im afraid ... as I have said many times before , vertical white lines of varying density, do not constitute rain , and i will continue to avoid it like the plague .

In reality you can see rain like this but at high speed , night time with high beam and it ain't going down ... it comes directly towards you , just don't lift that helmet visor on your bike, then it can turn bad.

In Latvia we waiting for better weather. Strong winds and sometimes a bit of snow, under 0° C at night, but the days are longer and we hear the first Birds are coming in from Africa. :D
