The May Comp is the first one I've ever done and, with careful guidance from "da Boss" Doug (thank you), it all seems to have worked out very well (technically).

Thanks to everyone that entered - and for giving the [new] two poll thing a whirl. I hope it wasn't *too* complicated!

Congratulations to Rob and Marty - with a tied vote. I was going to give them a banner each for two weeks, but found I couldn't crop Rob's pic awfully well so opted for a double banner instead. The other option would have been a re-poll (comments please!).

Embarassingly, I appear to have won the theme (and the prize). No skull-duggery, rigging, or harming of innocent animals went on ... honest (ask Doug!) ... so a big thank you to everyone that voted for my pic.

I'd like to encourage everyone to enter for the current June ("High Wing") comp. It's a pretty open-ended theme with loads of possibilities - and you don't have to be a Photoshop wizard to win, as just getting the *theme* right gets a prize. Anyway - even if you don't enter, you can always vote!

I thought i had replied to this ... but it seems to have gone into space.
So , i shall reiterate , just in case the "into space" thing is indeed correct .... odd goings on with my pc lately

Anyway ..... I had no idea my shot would rate , being as it was from an unknown format , and in among such talent.
