The last aircraft off from Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport before "Irma."

In Reality it is an Airbus-Flight from JetBlue Airways from Ft. Lauterdale to the Abel Santamaría Airport, Santa Clara, Cuba. I have the Aerosoft Airbus here, but not flown very often. The old and venerable Boeing 737-300 here in the colours of Southwest Airlines is more familar for me because I have classic 737´s since the old days from FS 2002 in use. So it was with this not typicall flight near "Irma" and landing by night on an unknown airport with only an NDB as help for landing the better aircraft for me.
Well it was a normal flight, nothing to report... but the landing in Santa Clara was not possible. The weather report was in reality to optimistic, "Irma" was not all over and on landing it was outside from the safety limits. And a "circle to land to RWY 26" from the Microsoft ATC was complete unrealistic. There was only on choice: abort and flying to the Alternate, in this case Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay, Jamaica. The landing was complete the work off the autopilot and the "riding of the ILS" uneventful.

It was not practicable to make a "circle to land".

It was very slow at the abort.

It was the original time. Between the USA and europe we have some hours and if we take the "actual" weather and change the time the result may sometimes awful. :D
