A Vanguard.... FS9 (pic heavy)

Ive been flying my Classic regressed FS9 a bit lately, this is some screens from a couple of flights in the DM sim Vanguards around Europe\

:rockon: Be as pic heavy as you want with anything FS9.
All that DM stuff was amazing ... your screens bring back very happy memories ... great post.

FS9 always answered any question (and still does) about just about any aircraft under the sun.
Nothing like loading up a retro plane and 'aving a look...

Never did figure out why the Vanguard didn't sell.
Too many engines for a feederliner perhaps?
By 1959 it would've had jet competition on the longer routes.

I noted the other day that my most up to date FS9 install is pretty much retro itself: it has NZ locked in to 2006!

The various governments of the day thought the British aircraft industry should build for BOAC and BEA, not the wider commercial market, because what was good for them was good enough for the rest of the wold. It wasn't. :angry:
