Kilimanjaro...

Postby hasegawa » Wed Dec 13, 2017 3:19 am

Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, Kenya (HKJK) - Kilimanjaro International Airport (HTKJ) Tanzania, DAHER-SOCATA TBM 850.

At the moment, Carenado offered some aircraft for a lower price. Have replaced two piston-engined aircraft with two PTL-aircraft. One of them is these TBM 850 the other a Piper Pa-46 Malibu Jetprop. This is an aircraft not build as PTL, it´s a conversation with a wild instrumentation. The flight today was a typical flight after the work... short but demanding.

Yes, it is not easy to fly in Africa....

To the airports<.

The airport of Nairobi: http://secure.simmarket.com/orientalsim ... l-(de_5432).phtml

This is one of the better in Africa from Orientalsim, but FSX only.

And this is Kilimandjaro from Aerosoft: https://www.aerosoft.com/de/fsxp3d/flig ... rport-2015

This is a good scenery, like Ayers Rock Australia. You have the airport and the Landmark (Mt. Kilimanjaro) is modelled to...

Other (more or less acceptable Payware-scenerys in Africa) Algier, Djerba, Sharm el Sheik, Ndjamena, Kigali, Agadir, Monastir, Tunis, Djerba, Djibuti...
But in the end I must say... this is little for a whole continent.

personal wishes for Africa:

- Luanda, Angola (I was there in the 80´s)
- Dar es Salam, Tansania
- Johannesburg, South Adrica
- Cape Town, South Africa
- Casablanca, Morocco
- Victoria Falls
- Kinshasa
- Addis Ababa
- Maun, Botswana, the biggest place in Africa for General Aviation flying in to the Okavango-Delta and the Namib Desert.
