It is fact. Only aircraft like a Harrier can do something against it. In 1943, in Tadzinskaya and Morosowskaya soviet tank-driver found after they have take these airfields in the process to encircling of Stalingrad a lot of transport aircraft. Because they where short of ammunition and the Germans are about to retake the airfields they destroy the aircraft by driving their tanks over the stern of the aircraft.
