Yeah, that's just showing off:)

Great shots, I haven't flown the Pitts yet, looks like fun!

Ok, this screenshot is called 'baby steps', my very first scenery model into MFS. Just the tower, of course, the rest is default NZCH. It looks quite lacklustre, as it doesn't yet have MFS materials. Note that any NZCH release will be a long way away! I've installed 3DS Max for the first time, and it is all very new. Still, I'm looking forward to getting stuck in. I may do a small freeware project first, I have a couple of airports in mind....

EDIT: oops, Postimage appears to be down at the moment.

I am thinking of something a bit smaller to start with. And closer to me. But I'd certainly love to have another go at Omaka some day.

Mt Cook is at the top of the list, I've always wanted to do it, but it just doesn't work well the restrictions of the previous sims. Plus it's a good day trip for me:)

When scale attacks!

Managed to get some PBR textures onto a few models today, so had another crack at the tower.... this is what happens when you forget to reset the scale.

Well you don't have to get so low to do a tower fly-by :plane:

It's a tower, so it's towering...that's what towers do :P

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

That tin shed is amazing  the first shot reminds of Dougs old place at Omaka.

Oh yes indeedy. That is some tin shed.
NZ needs some more of those, and some other things too.
What else are you playing with in MSFS?

Anyone want to try their hand at resizing the trees in the sim?

Personally, I don't have any time for MSFS, until I finish the installer for P3Dv5 NZCH. However I would think that some other NZ developers are having fun....

If I did have time for MSFS, I'd probably continue my NZTI project, just to see if it all works as expected. NZTI has some nice features which make it ideal for MSFS's realistic visuals.
