Great stuff Aharon ,, marvelous screen shots and informative back ground info.

The first 20 or so shots are all over what I would call "my home turf" as I have flown (real time) many times over it and driven many many times thru it ,, sort of looking at "home" thru some-one else's eyes.

Yes a great flight and presentation Aharon ,,, Well done and Thanks.

Brilliant stuff as usual Aharon, thoroughly researched. Unlike Jim I'm not familiar w the Otago towns and landmarks, I think you know more about NZ than we do now :)

This is an epic post young man... VERY well done  As the gents before have said , your presentation and research is nothing short of amazing.
I really enjoy your enthusiasm and commitment to the hobby... and interest in New Zealand. You came so close to flying over my home(in your post) .... I live under the 02 approach at NZCH(one turn required) for some flights.
Again ... well done.

Sjimc2000,

Thanks for your kind words and I am glad you enjoyed my flight screenshot report. I did not know you are real life pilot and I hope my screenshots does justice in real world realism to you and your real life flying.

Deeknow,

Ha ha it is matter of time before somebody spots my geographic error in my screenshots considering the fact I am Israeli, not New Zealand native or what I believe is called Kiwi. Good thing for existence of internet or otherwise I would have made DOZEN trips to library to look at stacks of maps to match to my screenshots and make proper presentation for all of you the loyal viewers!!

Thanks for your kind words and realistic beauty of ground textures as well as two airport sceneries were made possible by ToProb for our great flying pleasure.

Splitpin,

Thanks for your kind words. Creating beautiful screenshots to stimulate real world aviation realism to bring joy to entire flight simming population is my favorite hobby considering the fact I do not smoke and do not drink. Smiling

Wondering if Toprob created the same house as yours in his NZCH scenery Smiling. Next time when I approach 02, I will take screenshot for you to spot your home directly under the runway approach path.

Not sure what you mean one turn required. What do you mean by the words one turn required for 02 approach?

Splitpin wrote:interest in New Zealand

That is because New Zealand is beauty and pure fun to fly around especially everything is within 90 minute of flying. New Zealand sounds exciting place to live. Also, New Zealand is probably the only country that offers FREE photoreal ground sceneries for FSX. Too bad that North Island is not covered completely with FREE photoreal ground sceneries but at least I got whole South Island covered completely.

Sorry "Not sure what you mean one turn required." they pass directly over head, fly on for about a Km or 2 and then make a slight turn to line up. Its the same with 029, but they approach from a slightly different angle.

"Wondering if Toprob created the same house as yours in his NZCH scenery" ...very possible, I will check.
